1. Information We Collect

VerdictScope is operated by Megatron Web, Serbia. We collect information you provide, including account and contact details, questionnaire answers, case-related information, support messages, and purchase or entitlement information. We also collect limited technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate users, generate and save requested analyses, provide paid features, verify payments, communicate about the service, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain and improve VerdictScope.

3. Data Storage

Account, case, entitlement, and related service data are stored using our hosted service infrastructure. Your browser may also store limited session, preference, and in-progress workflow information necessary for the application to function. Payment information is processed by PayPal. VerdictScope may receive and retain limited transaction information, such as payment or order identifiers, payment status, purchased plan, amount, currency, and transaction timestamps. VerdictScope does not intentionally store full card numbers or card security codes.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, process transactions, comply with law, protect users and the platform, or with your direction. Case information submitted for analysis may be sent to an AI service provider to generate the requested output. We do not disclose case information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Service Providers

We use service providers to operate VerdictScope, including Supabase for authentication and database services, OpenAI for AI-assisted analysis generation, PayPal for customer payment processing, Netlify for hosting and form processing, Resend for transactional email, and Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse prevention where enabled. Payment information handled directly by PayPal is subject to PayPal's own privacy practices. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. No internet service or storage system is completely secure, so users should avoid submitting information that is not necessary for the requested analysis.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser storage and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, workflow continuity, and usage limits. You can control browser storage through your browser settings, but disabling it may prevent parts of the service from working.

8. Retention and User Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and in some circumstances to object to or restrict certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, accounting, dispute resolution, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.

9. International Processing

VerdictScope is operated from Serbia, and our service providers may process information in Serbia, the United States, and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

10. Children's Privacy

This service is not intended for users under 18 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
